I have a larger engagement ring, and because of it I feel like I can’t wear any right hair rings just makes me feel overdone.

Anyway my second year anniversary was last night and my fiance got me a lovely pink sapphire ring as a gift, but I just feel like I can’t wear it. I have a collection of lovely right hand rings from before we were engaged, so I suspect this is why he chose to give me one.

I don’t want to hurt his feelings though, I really do think it’s beautiful. Do you think it would look odd to wear this on my right hand when wearing my engagement ring (which is also a square cut [asscher]) on my left ?

But he would no be ok with the ring coming off my finger, we have "rules" about that haha.

That would probably be overdoing it. Can you wear that ring sometimes instead of your engagement ring? (Ooh – shocking, many people won’t like that idea!)

So I don’t wear any other rings. Unless I exchange one for this one. My husband is cool with it, but you should definitely explain it to your man before you take off the other ring.

Of course, we have land and I grow vegetables, work the land, mow, weedeat, use the tractor, and have been recently cutting down trees, so my ring comes off often anyway. There’s no way I’d damage it.

By the way, that pink ring is gorgeous! I thought about getting something just like that for my ring, but settled on the purple because my name is Amethyst.
